How to flash your D light M100 smartphone and remove Pay Joy Lock Steps
Below are the steps to flash the D M100 smartphone and remove the Pay Joy lock. The steps below explained ”How to flash D light M100 firmware and remove the Pay Joy lock without any difficulties.
I will guide you through the steps on How to flash the D M100 smartphone and remove the Pay Joy lock.
But remember that this method will also fix all the other software-related issues I mentioned earlier. Follow them carefully.
Step 1
In this step, you need to have the D Light M100 firmware file first. This file is a premium file and you will need to purchase it for only $5 or 500 Kenyan shillings.
To get the file, use this link to download the D Light M100 firmware file. After downloading the file, extract the zip file to your phone.
You will get D Light M100 to scatter the firmware file and the D Light m100 DA file. Step 2 Download the SP Flash tool on your computer.
Extract it to your computer. This is the tool you will use. Next, open the SP Flash tool. Load the D Light M100 DA onto the SP Flash tool in the DA section. Load Scatter text from the D Light M100 firmware folder.
(I assume you know how to use the SP Flash tool). After downloading the files, proceed to step 3.
Step 3.
In step 3, you should now be enthusiastic and do the following. Deselect all partitions and stay only with “Secro”.
Then click the download button, remove the battery from your phone, replace it and connect your phone to your PC and flash the secondary partition. Make sure to flash the secondary partition first.
Step 4
Now on the dashboard of the SP Flash tool, what you have to do is to go to “Format” to format, select Flash auto format and choose “Format all flash except bootloader” Now again, as in step 3 above, connect the phone and format it with this option.
After the phone is formatted, you will realize that it cannot turn on. Don’t panic. Now in this step select the system partition and flash as you did in step 3.
If you keep getting errors on the SP Flash tool, select both system and secondary partitions and flash only both.
After successfully flashing, now flash all other remaining partitions. Wait for all partitions to be flashed. Disconnect your phone from your computer and turn it on.
Step 5
After turning on the phone and going through the setup procedure, check the IMEI number by dialing *06#. You will find that the IMEI numbers are missing.
Now you need to write new IMEI numbers other than the first ones on the phone. (Changing IMEI numbers is illegal in most countries. Be careful, you may end up on the wrong side of law enforcement.

After fixing the IMEI, now make sure that you have not inserted any SIM card in your phone till now. Now go to settings, then the app, then uninstall the Pay Joy app.
Also, go to system apps and disable all Pay Joy-affiliated apps. Now switch off your phone, insert the SIM card and… Enjoy your D Light M 100 without paying for Joy. Watch the video below:
