Applications are now invited for the American University in Cairo Tomorrow Leaders (TLG) Graduate Student Program 2023.
The TLG is a collaboration between the United States Department of State, the United States Bureau of Near East (NEA/AC), and the American University in Cairo (AUC).
The Tomorrow Leaders Graduate Student Program is designed to equip graduate and economically deserving students with the professional qualifications and experience needed to advance knowledge and help achieve socially relevant outcomes.
This is achieved through organized academic study and research that enhances the professionalization of emerging leaders and offers local solutions to common problems in the MENA region.

Tomorrow Graduate Student Program Eligibility Criteria Leaders of the American University in Cairo TLG Qualification
- To be eligible, students must be citizens of the following countries: Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Libya, Tunisia, Yemen, Syria, Bahrain, the Occident Bank, and Gaza.
- Students must meet AUC graduate admission requirements to be eligible
- Students must have strong academic potential with a bachelor’s degree of a grade point average (GPA ) minimum of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 or equivalent.
- Students should be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Be mature and flexible and Demonstrate leadership potential in a combination of extracurricular activities, referrals, and interviews.
- Must be considered financially distressed.
